KNOT PINE BOX + JOHN ST. PELVYN 5.23.24 8PM $10-20

JOHN SAINT PELVYN (BELLINGHAM)

Hatched in the Minneapolis underground, John Saint-Pelvyn developed an idiosyncratic & very personal approach to guitar. Fragmenting folk & blues landscapes slashed through by theremin squelches & otherworldly vocal outbursts "like songs for the dead astronauts of tranquilly basin sung by cats and rare birds. Very nostalgic in their small way, but yearning for a past only reached by going forward"

Adam Roszkiewicz

@roscoplaysmando

A multi-instrumentalist who defies categorization. Possibly one of the best folk guitarists in the West. That alone would be enough, but he is also a creative electronic artist who wields modular and hardware synths to paint sound textures punctuated with elemental tones.

UNITY GARNISH is a platform for artworks composed and produced by Derek Blackstone and Sam Klickner.
